We would like to welcome Nick Evans to Amtelco! Nick is our Regional Sales Manager for the New Zealand and Australian markets. After decades of experience providing solutions and successful strategic plans to customers, most recently a five-year stint with Avaya as their Territory Manager across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, Nick brings extensive knowledge and understanding of New Zealand’s health sector.
Nick will advance the expansion of our healthcare contact center software products and services into the New Zealand and Australian regions. When we discovered that Te Whatu Ora had similar issues to healthcare organizations in the United States, we knew we could help with their digital healthcare needs. Working with the Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand Waitaha Canterbury team proved we could successfully partner with health organizations in New Zealand and bring them into our family – whānau – and assist in their focus on patient care. We are thrilled that Nick joined our team as our representative in New Zealand.
“As the hub of communications, healthcare contact centers play a significant role in our national goal of simplifying and unifying the health system,” says Nick. “I am excited to be part of Amtelco’s endeavor to bring their critical communication solutions here to Aotearoa.”
As a company, we have learnt about the spirit of “number 8 wire” and how it has led to many innovative and essential applications in use in New Zealand healthcare. The number 8 wire mentality fits nicely with our founder’s roots and the essence of our company – innovation based on tradition. With a rich history of telecommunication services, we carry the legacy of our founder by always improving, innovating, and inventing superior communication software solutions.
We want to understand the challenges faced by the healthcare sector in New Zealand and how we can help in areas that need improvement. Our longevity and global experience in healthcare means our team of software engineers, implementation specialists, communication experts, and customer service staff have a wealth of knowledge that helps us provide you with leading-edge solutions, backed by superior customer support.
Nick and other staff members will be attending Digital Health Week New Zealand (DHWNZ) at Claudelands in Hamilton on November 27-30, 2023. DHWNZ is organized by Health Informatics New Zealand (HiNZ). The conference brings the leading players within the digital health sector together to contribute to the digital transformation, simplification, and unification of the health and wellbeing sector in Aotearoa.
Please stop by and see us at booths 86 and 87!
